- Leri pleonosteosis: Leri pleonosteosis is characterized by broadening and deformity of the thumbs and great toes in a valgus position (a 'spade-shaped' appearance), flexion contracture of the interphalangeal joints, generalized limitation of joint mobility, short stature, and often mongoloid facies.
